Neusha is a Solicitor-Advocate (Civil) who qualified in March 2019 into the Commercial Dispute Resolution Department at Southall Hathaway & Co LLP. Prior to and since her qualification, Neusha’s case load covers the broad range of Commercial & Chancery matters with a particular emphasis on breach of contract disputes, Shareholder disputes and Insolvency. Added to this, Neusha also represents landlords in respect of repossession proceedings (Section 8 and Section 21).
As a Solicitor-Advocate, Neusha is able to represent her clients in all categories of the Court system whether on an interim application basis or at trial. Having worked on a matter from its inception is obviously advantageous as it enables Neusha to have a full understanding of the dispute which helps drive her to securing the best and most practical commercial outcome for her clients.
From an education perspective, Neusha graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2014 where she obtained a 2:1. Thereafter, Neusha completed the Legal Practice Course on a part-time basis at De Montford University where she graduated with a Distinction. Whilst on the LPC, Neusha jointly won the award for the Best Overall Performance. During her Professional Skills course, Neusha passed the Higher Rights of Audience (civil) assessment which enabled her to be admitted as a Solicitor-Advocate on admission to the Roll.
As a Solicitor-Advocate, Neusha is also a National Committe Member of SAHCA (Solicitors Association of Higher Courts Advocates).
In July 2019, Neusha was seconded to the Law Office of Richard Bianco in Washington DC in order to extend her knowledge of international litigation and enhance her advocacy skills.
